Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ use of state planes and other information about his official travel could soon be secret under a far-reaching bill that is coming while the Republican governor has been ramping up visits across the country ahead of a likely presidential campaign. Republican governor suggests ‘super-majority’ should suffice in state that has required jury unanimity in capital cases since 2017. “Fine, have a super-majority,” DeSantis told the Florida Sheriffs Association on Monday. “But you can’t just say one person votes no.” “Maybe eight out of 12 or something,” he added. BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is reporting a deadly crash in Manatee County. The FHP states that the crash occurred on 1st Street East (US-41) and 33rd Avenue East in Bradenton at 1:00 P.M. on December 12th. According to the report, a motorcyclist was traveling north on US-41 approaching 33rd Avenue East in the right lane. The second vehicle, an SUV, was traveling south US-41 in the left turn lane approaching the intersection of 33rd Avenue east.
